I am a single mother. I have three young kids. I work two jobs, but it just doesn’t seem to be enough. My kids are all young, two are in elementary school, and one is still a toddler. I have no relatives nearby so I am fully responsible to watch my kids. However, with two jobs, that’s quite the task. I take my two kids to school in the morning and the young one goes to daycare. I just didn’t have the money to pay the daycare costs, rent for our apartment, and all my bills. My parents were going to be moving close soon so that would help out a lot, but until then, I needed to find a way to get by.

I was running short, way short, on money then and didn’t have the cash to pay the mechanic. Lately he got really out of hand and we had some bills we couldn’t pay.  Something to do with a “Barney coat” he bought in Chicago.  $1200!  I mean, this is for a coat he’d never wear to work. And my work has slowed down lately due to the economy, so I looked up Car Title Loans in Granite City to find a way to handle it.  Sure enough, our Buick is still worth something.  So we got that car title loan, with the fast cash in one day.

And would you believe he had the nerve to chastize me for buying gas at the Shell, which is about five cents more than at the Marathon station?
