Car Title Loans in Round Lake

Friday, January 30th, 2009

I’ve adopted a new philosophy lately.  It’s that good news is just life’s way of keeping you off balance.

I mean, who isn’t used to bad news these days?  The governor was a crook.  Everyone’s getting laid off.  Half the neighborhood is for sale or in foreclosure. The banks don’t loan money anymore.

We ran into an itsy, bitsy problem last summer with our boat. Some kids stole it from the dock, were doing figure 8s in the lake, then crashed into another dock on shore.  Damage to the other dock: $1000.  Medical costs for one of the kids: $4200. The fact we got sued: priceless.

So we had to hire a lawyer to defend the fact our boat was a theft target. In the end, we won, but that wasn’t before about $2500 in legal costs.  Which my friend says coulda been worse. This was not extra cash we had just sitting in a cookie jar.  So my husband looked into where we could borrow some and finally hit on the idea of a car title loan.  We went to Round Lake Title Loans because it was fast and easy and could be done online. It was the only good news in the whole scenario, the fact that someone said we had something of value and that we deserved to get $2500 out of it.

Round Lake is also near Highland Park, Highwood, North Chicago, Waukegan, and Zion.

Car Title Loans in Buffalo Grove

Thursday, January 15th, 2009

I asked my obstetrician about how my childbirth would feel, and she said I’ll feel more pressure than pain. My baby weighed in at ten pounds, seven ounces. Calling that just pressure is like saying a tornado is a lot of wind current.

Which is just like the storm of financial problems we ran into around the time of my delivery. We had both lost our jobs, our mortgage was killing us, and then the hospital and doctor expenses were only partially covered by our health insurance. We talked about selling one of the cars, but with a baby and both of us looking for work, that didn’t seem like a smart idea either.

I went online and looked for ideas. That’s when I found Buffalo Grove Title Loans, a car title loan company that advances you money depending on the blue book value of your vehicle. Both our cars are five years old, but since they’re paid for we have the title. So I got $4000 to cover us in that torrent of expenses, enough to keep our heads above water and the insurance bills paid. It’s not been an easy time, but finding that cash got us through the toughest part of it and now we feel like we can manage things and get back on solid footing.

By the way Buffalo Grove is near Wheeling, Northbrook, Deerfield, Highwood, and Prospect Heights.
