I’ve lived in Alabaster my whole life and will die here one day too. I went up to Cleveland Ohio last summer to visit my cousin and decided that’s not the place for me. Do you know that in Cleveland Ohio it’s illegal to catch mice without a hunting license? It’s true, I read it somewhere.

We had our own problem with critters here last year.  Namely, there was an African python under our house! Animal control told us they have seen others up here, said they either are from pets that get too big or they’re coming up from Florida, in the Everglades, where they’re breeding — also from pets.  People are so stupid. Well, when I heard that thing was under our house I went screaming down the street I was so afraid! I booked in at the Shelby Motor Lodge, and stayed there for three nights while they worked at getting that awful thing dead and out of there.

Of course, that took money I didn’t have. So I went onto the computer and found Car Title Loans in Alabaster.  They loaned $500 on my car to pay for the motel and some damage to the house in that snake episode. Did I want to borrow money to stay in a motel? No. But it sure beat spending three days knowing that evil python might come up in my toilet and right into my bedroom!
