Loan Modification in Chicago

Friday, January 30th, 2009

I wanted to tell everyone of this great Chicago company called Mortgage-Help-Center. These guys helped me so much and I want to share my story with the public. I gave them permission to use this story but they did not ask me to do it. I wanted to do it.

I was behind in my payments. I was actually about to go 3 months behind and I was getting non-stop calls from the bank. I kept asking them if they would help me and maybe push the payments back but they were not even the least bit interested in helping me. All they cared about is telling me that they would have to take action soon which I figured was they were going to foreclose on me.

So I got an email from Mortgage Help Center and to be honest, I was a bit nervous. The ad said they could stop a foreclosure and that was enough for me to go to their web site. I filled out the few questions they asked for on the site and in about 10 minutes someone called. A nice gentleman named Fred. Anyway, I explained the deal to Fred and he said that there was a couple things they could do for me which I never thought was possible. First, they could get me a fixed rate instead of an adjustable. Big news because my adjustable just went up 2 points. He also said they could get my past due payments forgiven. Finally they could even lower my principal a bit and get a longer term on my loan.

I checked and sure enough they have an attorney on board that is pretty well known so I did it. In less than a week it was done. Now get this, I dont have to make a payment for 3 more months on TOP of all the things Fred told me about. I figured this saved me tens of thousands of dollars and most importantly stopped the foreclosure form happening.

Thanks guys and for all you readers out there.. use them. Just click that link I put in above. They can help stop a foreclosure in Chicago and do a lot more with their loan modification program.

By the way Chicago is near, Des Plaines, Hoffman Estates, Naperville, Orland Park, and Oak Park.

Car Title Loans Cook County

Friday, January 16th, 2009

I lost my job as an IT specialist in my company late last year.  There was a downsizing, but I think I know why I was the first one cut in the department. One of the VPs called one day because he was experiencing a malfunction, which was clearly a result of his failure to follow instructions we provided.  The e-mail we sent a week earlier said “high importance, must do” in the subject line.  So what I told him was those words, “high importance” really means “delete this because you’re too busy.”

That guy never had a sense of humor anyway.  Plus, the job was in Niles and I live in Calumet.  Killer commute in this Chicago traffic.

However, unemployment in this economy pretty much sucks.  So when I ran up against some unexpected expenses, I had to scratch around to find some fast cash.  That’s when I stumbled upon Cook County Title Loans.  This is a car title loans company that operates in the Internet era – no going to some scary store, waiting in line, talking to some lady through a plate glass window.  You sign on, fill out the forms, get approved, and get your money the next day.  All you need for a car title loan is to own your car (no payments remaining).

From now on, I keep the snide remarks inside my head.  Things are safer there.

By the way Cook County is near Oak Lawn, Worth, Palos Hieghts, Crestwood, and Riverdale.

Car Title Loans in Chicago

Q. What do your boss and a slinky have in common?
A. They’re both fun to watch tumble down the stairs.

About a month after a hundred of us got laid off, a friend sent me that joke because our department director got canned too, in the end.  Oh sweet joy.  He is a mean, awful person.

So after that little bit of Schadenfreude, I got to realizing how my dwindling finances are dwindling further, meanwhile my expenses have hit in a big bad way after the holidays.  I’ve sold stuff on Craigslist, things I didn’t need, and then I actually considered selling my car.  I take public transportation around town a lot, and ride my bike in summer.  Of course, in Chicago we have that whole crazy parking problem during the winter, so the car was on the chopping block.

But still, I am job hunting and might have to take something in the suburbs.  That would require a car, and this car has a few years of life in it still.  So I did my research and discovered that Chicago Title Loans would be a great solution.  With a car title loan, they look at your book value and calculate what they would lend you.  It helped me keep my bills paid while I work out my employment situation, and keep my wheels so I have more options on where I end up working.

By the way Chicago  is near Cicero, Lyons, Englewood, Hometown, and Chicago Ridge.
