My husband has a shopping problem.  Usually, you hear this the other way around.  But no, my dear sweet husband is really into clothes.  Which is not something you find with anyone here in Madison County, not in Granite City.  And half the clothes he buys – on the Internet of course, although he makes trips up to Chicago every couple of months, too – are just not the kind of thing one wears around here.  I don’t get it.  Give me the Gap, Kohls, Target, even Walmart.

Lately he got really out of hand and we had some bills we couldn’t pay.  Something to do with a “Barney coat” he bought in Chicago.  $1200!  I mean, this is for a coat he’d never wear to work.
