I learned this when I moved to Hartselle. It’s not the kind of thing a girl from Mobile knows. I reckon the fact I know this is surprising, but you haven’t met my husband’s family. They have an old house next to their barn that they use as the second barn. Well, my husband’s nephew and friends heard this fact that cows don’t go downstairs, so they thought they’d try it. So I had to hire a crane to lift her off a roof, plus three guys to get her out there through a window. That cost $1300! I told my husband’s nephew he was going to pay for it. Thank god we don’t live somewhere he could stick his tongue on a frozen flagpole. That boy doesn’t have a lick of sense.
