For the last couple years I’ve been renting a basement apartment for pretty cheap. It’s the perfect setup for me though – it’s got a bedroom, a small living room and kitchen and a bathroom with a shower in it. It’s the perfect size for me. I mean heck, I live alone and I haven’t had a girlfriend in awhile. It’s just the perfect spot for me. I had a huge problem awhile back though. It was raining really bad, probably the worst rain storm we’ve had out here in a long time. They almost evacuated our town because they thought it was going to get flooded. Well, to make a long story short, the whole town didn’t flood. My basement apartment did!

I stayed the weekend at my parent’s place because I was out there visiting them, and when I returned home I was in shock. My whole place was flooded! There had to be at least 8 or 9 inches of water. I was so ticked off! My furniture, my clothes, my electronics were all pretty much ruined! I didn’t know what the hell I was going to do! Luckily the guy who rents out the basement had some kind of insurance policy, so I was able to get a lot of my stuff paid for. A big one was all my clothes that got ruined, the insurance didn’t cover that and I didn’t have any spare clothes. I got a few things from my parents and a good buddy of mine, but I was pretty much screwed.

I needed to get a new wardrobe, especially for work. I had a lot of nice business casual outfits for work. I couldn’t just show up in pajamas or jeans, you know? I talked to my boss and he gave me a little slack, but that only lasted for a short amount of time.

A buddy of mine at work told me about Car Title Loans in Albany. I went straight for the computer and filled out the application they had online. I got approved pretty fast. It was a really easy application and it went by quick. I got the money within 48 hours. It was awesome. They saved my butt and I was able to get a decent wardrobe for now, at least enough to hold me over until I had a little extra money put aside. If I hadn’t found these guys I don’t know what I would have done, because I have bad credit – I think I always have – and I still got approved the loan!
